Glynn County Schools will hold summer school for elementary students from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 13 to Friday, June 24 at Altama, Burroughs-Molette, Glyndale, Goodyear, Greer, Satilla Marsh, St. Simons and Sterling. (Students at Golden Isles will attend Altama, and those at Oglethorpe Point will attend St. Simons).
Summer school for middle and high students will be held from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 6 to Friday, June 24 at Glynn Middle, Jane Macon, Risley Middle, Brunswick High and Glynn Academy. (Students at Needwood will attend Jane Macon).
LEGO Education kits will be part of the STEM enrichment activities offered at each elementary and middle school site, and the Edgenuity platform will be used to assist high school students. This summer program will offer opportunities for students to recover credit in core academic subjects which they have previously failed or received no credit, or to earn elective credit toward an on-time graduation.
