In support of strengthening student academic achievement, we have developed a parent-family engagement plan to engage parents and families in the education of their children and to build the capacity of Title I schools to implement parent-family engagement strategies and activities designed to achieve district student achievement goals. The plan (in English and Spanish) is available on the Federal Programs tab under Parent and Family Engagement.
For five weeks this semester, the nearly 200 students enrolled at FACES preschool received bags filled with items to improve their early literacy skillsets.
Glynn County Schools plan to provide a centralized vaccination clinic for school district employees through a collaboration with the public health department.
Parents and guardians who have a child that will attend public school in Glynn County for the first time next school year are encouraged to register their child now for school in August. The 2021-2022 school year will begin on Tuesday, August 10.
This additional preventive measure will improve our current contact tracing and quarantine efforts to decrease transmission of COVID-19 in our schools.
